Let's kick off December...

... with a wedding!!!! Of course! :)

We partnered up with Soiree Key West at the lovely Old Town Manor to provide the floral decor for Jennifer + Jason's special day!

Jennifer went for a mix of bold color in her florals. Bouquets were full of roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, orchids and hypericum berries with submerged orchids on the reception tables. At such a lovely venue it doesn't take much to really set the ambiance, but everyone really worked their magic for this one. :) It was a blast and I can't wait to see the professional shots!

A Thanksgiving Wedding

For our Thanksgiving holiday we spent it in Key West preparing for Amanda + Nic's wedding! They were wed at Southernmost on the Beach with a color pallet of yellow, grey and splashes of turquoise.

It was a perfect day in Key West and our darling bride was so fabulous! We wish you two the best- I'm so glad you loved your flowers! :)

Today is our precious baby girl's 2nd birthday! Happy birthday Lily Bee! ♥

2 years ago today we were blessed with such an amazing and precious baby that has grown into such a one of a kind little gal! And of course, our inspiration for Lily Bee's floral! :)

Happy birthday Princess Lily! Mommy, Daddy & Brother cannot wait to celebrate your special day with you!

Kendra & Tom's wedding - Sneak Peek!

This past weekend we were able to be part of Kendra & Tom's beachfront wedding in Key West! They were such an awesome couple with a gorgeous view of what they wanted at their wedding and it all came together wonderfully!

Although it was quite windy (to put it nicely ;) we eventually were able to get everything set up just in time for the guests to sign the guest book & take a seat.

Here's a few quick pictures I snapped with my cell, so forgive the quality. I cannot wait to see the professional pictures- I have a feeling they're going to be fab-u-lous!

A Month of Thanks = Big $avings for You Brides!

I LOVE Thanksgiving! LOVE it! Love the baking, the cooking, the time spent with family & friends, the crisp cool air, the leaves falling all over the driveway that my husband so diligently will clean off 10+ times a day. ;) I love more than all of that (even more than pumpkin pie and the 10 pounds I'll be gaining before December...) a focus on thankfulness.

A Wedding Close to my Heart at The Arbor Events

I have to stop and brag a moment about a wedding I was honored to be a part of this past weekend, November 3. A dear friend of mine, and co-worker in the floral event industry, married her best friend (and a sweetheart of a guy)! I couldn't be happier for her and all that has come about for her and to be able to be even just a small part of such a huge day in their lives truly means the world to me.

The event was held at the Arbors Event venue in Cleveland, NC, I cannot exaggerate this venue enough. It is GORGEOUS. Sarah went with the rustic chic theme and everything came together beautifully! Lace overlays, babies breath galore, bouquets of ranunculus, personalized white pumpkins, candle light everywhere and bonfires to boot!

10/11/12, A perfect day for a Key West wedding!

Mike and Amber tied the knot on Smather's Beach in Key West. Surrounded by friends family, conch shells, orchids and rose petals- it was a beautiful affair! We absolutely loved working with this gorgeous bride and getting to be even just a small part of such a big day. You couldn't help but see the love between the two everywhere they went, and the vibrancy of the orchids was pretty spectacular too! ;)

We wish you two a lifetime of happiness & love, thank you again for including us!

2013, the year of the Queen City!

2013 is looking to be a biiiiiiig year for us in the Charlotte area and surrounding. With multiple partnerships from North Carolina to South in the works we will be seeing a huge influx of weddings with that Carolina Charm. :)

When we left California and moved to NC, it became home. And although nothing will ever beat the amazing Florida Keys or the history filled streets of Savannah, our family is very excited to get the opportunity to spend a bit more time close to 'home'.

But still-- we will be traveling up and down the East Coast as we do now, servicing weddings as we go. :) We're already booking up quickly for the first half of 2013 keeping a nice mix of country hills and tropical beaches.

2013 -- bring it on! :)

Frances & Mike's big day!

We just received the pictures that the fabulous Studio Julie took at Frances & Mike's wedding earlier this year. They were married at The Westin Key West overlooking the water, with the ceremony and reception there on the pier. She was an absolute doll to work with, and even when we arrived at the end of the reception to start packing up you could just see how happy they all were- it was wonderful!
